    Professor Jinglu Hu is a prominent academic and researcher currently serving as a professor at the Graduate School of Information, Production and Systems, Waseda University, Japan. He was born in Fujian, China, and earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in Electronic Engineering from Sun Yat-Sen University in 1983 and 1986, respectively. He then pursued his doctoral studies at Kyushu Institute of Technology, Japan, where he received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and System Engineering in 1997. His academic career began as a research associate and lecturer at Sun Yat-Sen University from 1986 to 1993. After completing his doctoral studies, he joined Kyushu University as a research associate from 1997 to 2003. In 2003, he began teaching at Waseda University as an Associate Professor and was promoted to full professor in April 2008.
