Maritime in Community Service and Empowerment (MiCSE)Electrical Focus is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that highlights the integration of electrical engineering, maritime studies, and community service. We publish innovative research and projects that promote community development, empower marginalized populations, and drive positive societal impact in maritime contexts.

MiCSE is published biannually, every April and November. We accept original manuscripts in English, which undergo editorial screening and double-blind peer review by at least two experts. MiCSE upholds high academic standards and aims to be indexed in Scopus and Web of Science.

We welcome contributions in the following areas:

  1. Marine Electrical Infrastructure – Maritime electrical systems, port electrification, and offshore energy.

  2. Renewable Energy Integration – Solar, wind, and tidal energy for marine use.

  3. Community Empowerment – Electrical innovations for coastal and island communities.

  4. Safety and Sustainability – Safe and eco-friendly electrical practices in maritime settings.

  5. Interdisciplinary Collaboration – Joint solutions for maritime challenges.

  6. Equity and Inclusion – Access to energy for vulnerable and underserved groups.

Submit your manuscript and be part of the movement to empower maritime communities through technology.
